What did you do with your day off?

Way back in September, you had a day off of school… We had such an awesome day together. You made a plan and carefully checked off all the items. One minor crash midway through the day, which was quickly cured with a hot dog from a street vendor. 🙂

LAST YEAR POST: First Parent-Teacher Meeting at CRPS

Posted on

(I wrote this post a year ago, and it was saved in “Drafts.” Thought I would publish it so you can see it)

Yesterday your Dad and I met with Mrs. Markajani in our first sit-down meeting to talk about how wonderful you are. I can not WAIT to scan and add the stories you’ve been writing to your teacher on this blog… They are FAR too precious for words!!
One began
“To Karin
“Your assinmt is do draw the pikturs.”
And then you wrote a beautiful story about one friend who see the beautiful insides of another friend. When your teacher asked, “Karin?” “Yes,” you replied, “Markajani is too many letters.” 🙂 LOL

Highlight: – you have made your own space at your new school, feeling like you now have many friends there. When Halle is out, then Zacharia steps us. They are becoming your community.
